About Me
My Approach
I work with people who are tired of being misunderstood. I believe real change happens when someone feels truly seen in their entirety, not reduced to a label or a diagnosis. You are not a problem to solve. You are a unique individual who deserves meaningful support. I aim to honour your story and your uniqueness in a non-judgmental and compassionate way.
Your journey is exactly that; yours. My first and only interest is working with you to find what works best for you.
My work is grounded in the idea that healing, recovery and growth are deeply personal processes. These processes cannot be reduced to a formula, because people are not formulas. They’re people. There is no universal roadmap, and what works for one person may not work for another. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter or one-size-fits-all approaches, because I’ve seen firsthand how limiting (and harmful) they can be.
I am an ICF-certified coach offering substance use and recovery coaching, and holistic wellness coaching. I bring both lived experience and professional training into my coaching practice. I am in long-term recovery myself, after nearly a decade of personal experience with addiction. I have sat on the other side of the chair for many years as a client in treatment programs, therapy, and group sessions.
These experiences gave me firsthand insight into what helps and what often misses the mark. They also helped shape my belief that people don’t need to be fixed; they need to be seen, listened to, understood, and empowered to make their own choices. I aim to support you in bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
Training & Certifications
In addition to my lived experience and ICF-certification, I completed a two-year Addiction Counselling Diploma at Northern Lakes College and am currently working toward my Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) designation through Rhodes Wellness College and the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. While I already possess a strong counselling foundation, my services are strictly coaching at this time. Coaching is not therapy or counselling, and I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. My role is to support insight, growth, accountability, and self-directed change within a coaching framework.
When we work together, you can expect honesty, clarity, and respect. I will not tell you who to be or what your journey should look like. I care deeply, but I will not sugarcoat, mislead, or pretend there is a quick fix. I will not lead you astray or offer advice that doesn’t align with your values. This is your path. My role is to support you as you navigate it.
I’m known for seeing the unseen: the strengths beneath the struggle, the patterns beneath the pain, and the person beneath the story. If you’re looking for someone who will meet you where you are, speak plainly, and walk alongside you without judgment or BS, you’re in the right place, and I’d be honoured to connect with you.
